How to Buy in a Seller’s Market
As we all know, we are in a seller's market. Houses are going for well over asking with multiple offers. Currently in Doylestown, on average, houses receive 4 offers and sell in 14 days. What does this mean for buyers? Your offer must be competitive. And it doesn't always mean cash. Here's what you can do:
1. Communicate with your agent to keep on the listing agent and ask for the sellers motives (sometimes offering a gift to the seller)
2. Have a proper approval letter from a reputable lender
4. Include an "as is" home contingency
5. Be prompt with your Earnest Money Deposit
6. Determine an agreeable closing date (be flexible)
